Sam Houston State University’s First Giving Day Set For April 23, 2024!

For 1 day, 8 hours, 7 minutes, and 9 seconds alumni, parents, friends and Bearkat fans from all over can come together online to make a difference and support their favorite college, program, scholarship, or University initiative that is meaningful to them.

Each generous donation plays a pivotal role in empowering SHSU to cultivate student success.

Basketball Challenge in Honor of Reed Lindsey
Reed Lindsey ’33, was a 4-year letterman basketball player and 3-year captain at SHSU from 1928-1932. After graduation, he went on to work for Sam Houston for 49 years. In his honor, when 20 people give to the Men’s Basketball Team, a gift of $500 will be unlocked.
