There are a number of ways you can support SHSU Athletics:
Bearkat Champions Fund:
The Bearkat Champions Fund enhances Sam Houston State Athletics' ability to provide more than 400 student-athlete with the resources they need to compete at a high level for 18 varsity teams - eleven for women and seven for men. By becoming a Bearkat Champion and contributing on an annual basis, our most loyal supporters, along with the hard work of our student-athletes and coaches, are Building Champions on and off of the playing field.
NCAA Academic Advisor Account:
Gifts are used for student-athlete development programs and opportunities that enhance the overall student-athlete experience. Donations help provide academic resources through the Learning Enhancement Center and help fund fifth year and summer scholarships for our student-athletes, as well as other student-athlete needs as determined by the Director of Athletics.
Sport Specific Giving:
To compete with the best, we must invest well before the competition begins on gameday. Your support helps to offset the costs of travel, equipment, gear, training, and other programmatic expenses that are integral for each sport to reach its highest potential. Make a gift to your favorite Bearkat sport to help it achieve its goals in the future.
