College of Osteopathic Medicine

The mission of the SHSU College of Osteopathic Medicine is simple and impactful - address the growing primary healthcare crisis in rural and underserved Texas by educating and placing doctors in the areas that need it most. DO Bearkats will get involved in the community and spend time learning about patients as people.

Through your thoughtful support, we can achieve our mission to educate clinically skillful, compassionate, and culturally competent physicians by helping our students defray some of the costs of their medical education.

Please consider making a gift to the College of Osteopathic Medicine Enrichment accountThe account is utilized to support or expand programs that advance healthcare initiatives, osteopathic medicine, and the mission of the university and college.
