Your investment in the SHSU Alumni Association provides support for our students and works to create a network of alumni who can make a difference for the University, their community, and in the world.
On Giving Day there are two ways to support the Alumni Association:
The Alumni Enrichment Fund. The alumni enrichment fund supports and enhances the operations of the Alumni Association to include, but not limited to, alumni clubs and special interest groups, student engagement, student scholarships, alumni networking, and events.
The Life Member Endowment Fund. By becoming a Life Member of the association, you are supporting the permanent endowment.
Your gift of membership goes into the Life Member endowment where it will continue to give back to the association in perpetuity. As a Life Member you will receive additional benefits including exclusive Life Member events, discount tickets to alumni regional events, discounts at the Bearkat Golf Course, and 20% discount on SHSU athletic season tickets (football, basketball, and baseball). Life Members receive a SHSU swag kit that includes a key ring, luggage tag, journal, decals, and lapel pin to show your Bearkat Pride wherever you go.
$1,000 – Life Membership
$500 Life membership – Discounted for Seniors (age 65+) and Recent graduates (within 2 years of graduation)
