Annual Fund for Excellence

Sam Houston State University has honored its historical roots by providing students with an excellent education. We continue to be able to do this thanks to the support of alumni, friends, faculty and staff, parents and corporations who are part of SHSU's powerful giving community.

The Annual Fund for Excellence is a vital means of providing ongoing support to make the greatest immediate impact on our university. The Annual Fund supports scholarships, academic priorities, and new initiatives.

SHSU 1961 Sigma Chi Challenge
Sigma Chi alumni brothers Jerry Stephenson '78, Larry Larrison '77, Shane Sklar '99, and Jason Hammons '99 have come together for our first SHSU Giving Day to encourage support back to the university. Give $19.61 or more in honor of the founding of Sigma Chi at SHSU and when 25 gifts are made, $1,961 will be unlocked from these fraternity brothers!
