The College of Science and Engineering Technology (COSET) at Sam Houston State University is home to eight departments and nationally recognized degree programs, faculty, and facilities. All are here to serve approximately 3,700 undergraduate and graduate students through education that is flexible, student-centered, innovative, and engaged with the community. COSET fosters student-faculty relationships focused on career readiness, research opportunities, and professional and personal development.
Many of these opportunities are provided through our COSET STEM Center with the support of the COSET Enrichment account. To meet basic student needs, we have also recently established the COSET Scholarship fund. Through the generosity of our alumni and faculty, this award became available for the first time in Spring 2024 and has already provided 8 scholarships to deserving future Bearkats transitioning from high school to college. We hope to help many more in future years.
