DID YOU MISS GIVING DAY? YOU CAN STILL MAKE A GIFT HERE!
Alumni Association
Lead in Service to Others

Your investment in the SHSU Alumni Association provides support for our students during their college years and works to create a network of alumni who make a difference for the University, their community, and in the world.

On Giving Day there are two ways to support the Alumni Association:

The Alumni Enrichment Fund: the alumni enrichment fund supports and enhances the operations of the Alumni Association to include, but not limited to alumni networks, special interest groups, student engagement, student scholarships and alumni events and activities, just to name a few.

The Life Membership Program: By becoming a Life Member of the association, you are supporting the permanent endowment. Your contribution is never used directly and therefore makes a lasting investment impact forever. The annual dividends of the Life Membership Endowment support the everyday operations of the Office of Alumni Relations. These funds support major events, activities and campus traditions throughout the year. Your lasting contribution helps us to keep the Bearkat spirit alive for SHSU graduates of every generation, near and far.

Besides the regular benefits of life membership listed here. If you become a new Life Member or upgrade your membership (add a Joint Life Member, upgrade to Life Endowed Member status), during the month of April 2025, you will receive an 8 x 8 brick paver in our Alumni Garden, with a customizable inscription, a $300 value. For questions related to membership, please contact lindsay@shsu.edu.

Payment plans are available for Life Memberships, as well as discount for new graduates (within 2 year of graduation) or seniors (65+).  Join for Life Today!
