DID YOU MISS GIVING DAY? YOU CAN STILL MAKE A GIFT HERE!
SHSU Food Pantry

Did you know currently 3 in 5 college students face food insecurity at some point during their academic journey. Food insecurity is a challenge where students lack reliable access to an ample supply of affordable, nutritious food for good health. With your help, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of Bearkats who are striving to achieve personal and academic dreams. By providing access to nutritious food, we empower them to excel in their studies.

The SHSU Food Pantry thrives on your donations. To keep our shelves brimming with nutritious options, we depend on the kindness and generosity of the Bearkat community and beyond. Together, we can ensure every student can focus on their studies and not where their next meal will come from. At the Food Pantry students can pick up groceries, including fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, lean protein, and more. We stock our pantry through monetary and in-kind donations from alumni, student groups, and others. We rely solely on donations to ensure the shelves stay full all year long.
